Our Mission Statement

To provide a forum for students who are interested in the business field, and to broaden members' knowledge of that field

To impliment new and creative ways to foster a growing connection between the Business Club of Monterey Peninsula college and the business community of the Monterey Peninsula

To learn the processes of operating a business

To motivate those who are connected to the organization

To seek out the unique strengths and talents of each individual member and encourage the cooperative improvement of the club

Think about joining us! Check out the BENEFITS below!!

(1) Learning more about business:  Joining us in our various activities will increase your familiarity with business, all types of businesses!  This only increases your competence as a business professional.

(2) Making connections with local business leaders:  As we venture into local businesses, to study their methods, observe processes, or simply help out, those connections become a nature source of networking.  Networking, as we know, is an excellent way to establish ourselves and grow in the business world!

(3) Connecting with other MPC students during fun projects:  We are always doing something, and its that fun we have with one another that makes the semester go more smoothly.  We have served slices of pizza to MPC students, handed out brochures about the club, contributed to programs helping the poor in Iraq, and many other things.

(4) Enhancing your resume with academic club involvement:  This is something that tends to help in a transfer to a university.  Increasingly, universities are looking for students who fit the description of a BALANCED professional.  That is, universities are turning aside candidates who have the extremely high GPA and absolutely no community or extra-academic involvement in favor of those students with very good GPAs and a solid record of community-social involvement.  It makes sense to invest in your resume.
